Care on the coast was created around 1 simple belief:

At Care on the Coast, we believe support should be meaningful, engaging and shaped around the individual.

We take the time to understand each person’s interests, strengths, routines and goals. From there, we create practical and enjoyable opportunities that support confidence, independence and genuine participation in everyday life.

Our team is encouraged to think creatively rather than rely on a one-size-fits-all approach. We develop in-house resources, visual supports, activity ideas and skill-building tools that can be adapted to each participant and the way they learn best.

Whether the goal is building daily living skills, developing confidence in the community, improving communication or trying something new, we break it down into realistic and achievable steps.

Because progress does not need to be rushed to be meaningful.

Care on the Coast began over six years ago with a simple goal: to provide compassionate, person-centred support that helps people build confidence, achieve meaningful goals and feel genuinely connected to their community.

As our journey grew, so did our vision.

Working across the disability sector has shown us that great support is about far more than simply attending shifts. It comes from understanding each person's strengths, thinking creatively, encouraging independence and providing support that is purposeful, engaging and tailored to the individual.

That belief continues to shape everything we do today.

Alongside personalised disability support, Care on the Coast is developing a growing library of practical resources, visual supports, activity guides and tools designed to help participants, families and support workers achieve meaningful outcomes. If the right resource doesn't already exist, we'll create it.

Our mission is simple: to empower people through creativity, compassionate support and purposeful goal setting, helping every person build confidence, celebrate progress and live a life that is meaningful to them.

Whether we're supporting someone in the community, creating new resources or developing practical tools that make everyday life easier, everything we do is guided by one question:

"Will this help someone live a more confident, connected and meaningful life?"
